A MINDSET OF GIVING
I TIM. 6:17
Neh 10:35 AMP... And [we obligate ourselves] to bring the first fruits of our ground and
the first of all the fruit of all trees year by year to the house of the Lord,
Rom 11:16 NKJV... For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is
holy, so are the branches.
1 Tim 6:17-19 NIV...Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their
hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides
us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good
deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure
for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the
life that is truly life.
Matt 21:22 AMP... 22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really]
believing, you will receive.
Mal 3:10-11 NIV... Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in
My House. Test Me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the
floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough
for it.
****FAITH IS NOT AN EMOTION; IT IS A DECISION TO STAND ON GOD’S WORD NO MATTER WHAT!!!

generous and willing to share.
Acts 2:44-45 AMP... And all who believed (who trusted in and relied on Jesus Christ)
were united and [together] they had everything in common; 45 And they sold their
possessions (both their landed property and their movable goods) and distributed the
price among all, according as any had need.
2 Cor 8:1-2 NIV... And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has
given the Macedonian churches. 2 Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and
their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.

Hag 1:6 NIV... You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put
on clothes but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in
it.
Deut 28:1-2 NKJV... Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord
your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that
the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these
blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the
Lord your God
Prov 3:9-10 NKJV... Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all
your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with
new wine.
2 Cor 8:3-6 NIV... For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond
their ability. Entirely on their own, 4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of
sharing in this service to the Lord's people. 5 And they went beyond our expectations;
having given themselves first of all to the Lord, they gave themselves by the will of God
also to us.

*** YOU TALK TO GOD AND ASK GOD, WHAT DO “YOU” WANT TO GIVE THROUGH ME?
2 Cor 9:6-8 NIV... Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has
decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a
cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at
all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Cor 9:10-11 AMP... And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will
also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your
righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].
11 Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous,
and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.
2 Cor 9:12 AMP... For the service that the ministering of this fund renders does not only
fully supply what is lacking to the saints (God's people), but it also overflows in many
expressions of thanksgiving to God.
Luke 12:48 NKJV... For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required
(greater responsibility) ...
